| Hi, I think I may have been infected with a virus. please help!
I put the logs up and I'm running Windows XP Home. Also, automatic updates has been "mysteriously" disabled. It also forbids me to turn it back on. | |

| Looks like you've caught yourself a nice little Vundo infection.
Download ComboFix and save it to your desktop. Run the program and read its disclaimer (it's fairly short) and make sure you really pay attention to what it says. Follow the prompts and when finished, it will produce a log at C:\ComboFix.txt. Go ahead and post that here, along with a new HijackThis log.
Or the best way go to virustotal and scan the file. | |
